WD PASSPORT STUDIO FREEZES SOLVED

welcome. this is not a blog but is about how to solve freezes issue of wd passport elite connected via FireWire. Just few shots are better than many words. See, I found freezes only because of overheat of those big chips on controller. I found some kind of heat sink and just set it with thermal glue for CPU usage, you can do by yourself. Now I have no problem in 5 month already.

It may void warranty if it's available. lack of accuracy may destroy your HDD or even your computer. If you never did such things than ask your good friend who know.
